For the ladies that attended my Iftar party this year, I gifted votive candles packaged in gold paper lanterns. I love giving candles as Ramadan favors and Eid favors. Once I purchased the items, it was incredibly easy to pull together. See how I did it below!
Purchase & Assemble Gold Paper Lanterns
I purchased gold lantern favor boxes from EidCreations made specifically for Ramadan favors and Eid favors. They are reversible and I opted to use the gold side for my Iftar theme. They were easy to put together, though due to the weight of the candle, I did reinforce the bottom and sides with tape. I’d rather have some visible tape than broken glass votives.
Choose Your Favorite Votive Scent
I’m obsessed with the Jasmine Bouquet candle from the Target Chesapeake Bay Collection. It has such a beautiful floral scent and great spread. Those are the candles on my Ramadan fireplace mantle. I was so excited to find large votives were available.
Elevate Your Candle With A Holder
My Amazon find were these beautiful silver speckled votive holders. They were the perfect size for the favor box and I liked the quality.
Add Some Color With A Tag
Finally, I wanted to break up with gold with a more subdued purple thank you tag. I used scrapbook paper, scissors, a hole puncher, and a gold gel pen to create little tags that said “Shukraan”.
Voila! Ramadan favors and Eid favors that your guests will surely love. Also if you are looking for favors for a younger group, check out my tutorial for children’s placemats.
Peace & Salam,
